As a large nonprofit, you probably have a lot on your plate.
You’ve been able to grow to a size that helps hundreds, if not, thousands of people in your local community. To get to this point, a lot of hard work and dedication went into your mission. This devotion should be praised because growing to this size doesn’t happen often. Of the 1.7 million charities that are registered with the IRS, only 8% note an annual revenue of more than $1 million, and just 3% of that are greater than $5 million.1
To keep it all going, the last thing you want is to spend countless hours in your office trying to sort and organize your donor information and analytics. Continuing the upward revenue trend that large nonprofits are currently seeing helps when you have a platform that puts all your information and other software uses into one, and all done for the greater good.
Across the board, digital giving for nonprofits of all sizes in any subsector is going up. In 2021, online giving increased by 9%, a number that is on top of the 20.7% increase in 2020.2
For larger nonprofits specifically (ones that are reported with an annual revenue of more than $10 million), they saw the largest increase in digital giving of 9.8% when compared to other nonprofit sizes. That percentage accounted for 11.1% of all fundraising for large nonprofits. Furthermore, large nonprofits also saw a healthy increase over a three-year period at 34.7%.2
Larger nonprofits have an advantage of increased visibility and, especially if you have been around for many years, strong credibility. They also have the capacity and resources to focus a little more on email and social media messaging, as well as any paid media they might want to use.
Through all that visible branding, donors themselves give to larger nonprofits because they know of their work, and they know their work can make a big difference. If you are a larger nonprofit and haven’t reviewed the current state of your online platform, now is the time.
iDonate understands that large nonprofits have big goals. Together with the streamlined, simplicity, and the integration capabilities with many leading CRMs, our platform is made to serve larger nonprofits.
