While evaluating the latest in digital fundraising platforms, David Ritchie, Director of Information Services, said their current provider iModules wasn’t cutting it. “The donation experience was cumbersome, plus the thank you process and data entry was very manual, costing us valuable time.” They also needed the ability to run sophisticated, custom campaigns, which was unavailable with their current system.

For any campaign idea we have, it’s easy to spin up a new landing page, customize the embeddable giving form and even the thank you email – for one successful campaign we customized it to come from the surgeon himself.

“We attribute our growth in online donations to the fact that with iDonate we can easily run specific, personalized giving campaigns that our alumni can connect to.”

Once Jefferson University implemented iDonate, they were able to set up multiple campaigns in minutes for causes like liver transplants, orthopedics, and fraternities. Within four months, the new technology plus their efforts have already seen an up tick in donors and donations for the school. Overall, David said the overall donation experience and administration was “one hundred times easier” with the Digital Giving Suite.

Since moving to iDonate’s Digital Giving Suite, Thomas Jefferson University has seen:

Increased Donation Size

3.5x increase over the national average of industry gift size.

Increased Donors

5x increase in the total number of donors for the University.
