What is this charge on my bank statement?

Understanding Your Bank Statements: Unraveling Merchant Processor Billing

Ever looked at your bank statement, scratched your head, and thought, "Wait, what is this mysterious charge?" We've all been there! In this knowledgebase article, we'll peel back the curtain and unravel the mystery behind billing for merchant processors used by iDonate.

At iDonate, we strive to provide a seamless donation experience for organizations and their supporters. To achieve this, we collaborate with trusted merchant processors such as CardConnect and Fiserv ACH. However, it's important to note that these processors may appear on your bank statement instead of the recognizable "iDonate." Fear not! We're here to shed light on the additional identifying information you may encounter.

CardConnect
You might find a transaction detailed as "MerchantBankCD" when reviewing your bank statement. CardConnect is our trusted payment processing partner, ensuring secure, efficient transactions. Don't worry- it's simply the wizard behind the curtain facilitating your generous donations.

Please inform your accounting or bookkeeping team, and if possible, add them to your approved list with your bank with their ACH ID of G592126793.

Fiserv ACH (BlueChex)
Now, let's talk about Fiserv ACH. They are our preferred eCheck/ACH processor. They are an esteemed payment processor working hand in hand with iDonate and CardConnect. Together, we try to guarantee smooth electronic donations and keep generosity flowing.

Please inform your accounting or bookkeeping team, and if possible, add them to your approved list with your bank with their ACH IDs 0000000380 and 0383913206.

Jack Henry(ProfitStars)
An oldie but a goodie. Jack Henry may appear as JHA on your bank statement. These transactions should not trouble you since you've been processing them for quite a while. Do note that if your organization cancels or migrates to Fiserv ACH, their billing continues for a month or two since they bill in arrears.

Why the Difference?
You might wonder why these processor names appear on your bank statement instead of the familiar "iDonate." Well, it's all for the sake of transparency and compliance! These additional processor names allow for accurate record-keeping and adhere to regulatory guidelines, ensuring clarity for all parties involved.

CardConnect and Fiserv ACH are your trusty merchant processors working tirelessly in the background to make your donations a reality. While these names may differ from what you expect, rest assured that they are still part of the iDonate family, ensuring secure and efficient transactions for your generosity.
